• Vehicle Information: Car make, model, colour, and registration number — used to identify your vehicle at your parking bay.
• Payment Information: We use third-party payment processors (Razorpay / UPI). We do not store full card numbers or UPI PINs on our servers.
• Location Data: Approximate GPS coordinates of your registered parking bay to enable partner routing and wash verification.
• Service Photos: Before-and-after photographs taken at the time of each wash, time-stamped and geo-tagged.
• Usage Data: App interactions, wash ratings, support tickets, and referral activity.
• Device Information: Device model, OS version, and push notification token for app functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To schedule, dispatch, and verify completion of your daily wash service.
• To send you push notifications with your before/after wash photos.
• To process subscription payments and issue receipts.
• To manage referral credits and community pricing adjustments.
• To respond to your support queries and complaints.
• To improve service quality, train our partners, and resolve disputes.
• To send service-related communications (not marketing, unless you opt in).
• To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations.

We do not use your data to serve third-party advertisements or build advertising profiles.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Service Partners: Our on-ground wash partners receive your vehicle details, bay location, and contact number solely to perform the service.
• Payment Processors: Razorpay and UPI payment rails process transactions under their own privacy policies.
• Cloud & Analytics Providers: We use reputable infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS, Firebase) under data processing agreements that prohibit them from using your data for their own purposes.
• Legal Obligations: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or regulatory authority in India.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers located in India, in compliance with applicable data localisation requirements. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit.
• AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest.
• Role-based access controls — only authorised personnel can access personal data.
• Regular security audits and penetration testing.

We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription and for up to 24 months thereafter for dispute resolution, tax, and legal compliance purposes. Wash photos are retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted.

5. Photo & Location Data

Every wash generates a set of geo-tagged, time-stamped photographs. These photos are:

• Stored securely and accessible only to you and authorised DMW staff.
• Used exclusively to verify service delivery and resolve quality disputes.
• Never shared with third parties or used for marketing without your explicit consent.
• Automatically deleted after 90 days.

Location data (your parking bay coordinates) is used only for partner dispatch and wash verification. It is never sold or shared with advertisers.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Under applicable Indian law and as a matter of principle, you have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Opt-Out: Opt out of marketing communications at any time via the app or by contacting us.
• Grievance Redressal: Lodge a complaint with our designated Grievance Officer (details in Section 10).

7. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses minimal cookies necessary for basic functionality (session management, security tokens). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Our app does not use cookies; it uses device tokens only for push notifications.

You may disable cookies in your browser settings. This may affect certain features of the website but will not affect your subscription service.

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is intended for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify active subscribers via push notification or email for material changes. Your continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
